Beyond Mobile Warehouse

The Mobile Warehouse App for Business Central

Beyond Mobile Warehouse is a mobile warehouse app that runs directly in Business Central – in a compact storeroom just as well as in a large logistics operation. No more running back and forth to terminals, no more clipboard chaos: your team posts stock right where the goods are.

The Business Central scanner app for your warehouse

Open documents with a scan

Open a warehouse receipt, purchase order or sales order by scanning the code on the document. Or pick it from the list with the magnifier.

Scan items and bins

Item number and bin go into the field by scan, and you set the quantity with plus and minus. Every line you add turns green. The app also checks each entry against defined rules, so mistakes show up before anything is posted.

Scan serial numbers

For serial-tracked items, scan the serial number, pick it from the list or type it in. The Scanned column shows how many are done.

Save or post right away

Save keeps your progress on the document. Save + Process posts it straight from the mobile device.

How the Business Central mobile warehouse app works

You create documents in Business Central as usual. In the warehouse, your team works through them on a mobile device.

Record warehouse receipts on the spot

Scan the warehouse receipt, scan each item, enter the quantity and add a bin if needed. Posting happens right from the app.

Check and top up purchase orders

When a delivery arrives, compare what came in with the purchase order and tick off each line. Running low on an item? Scan it straight into an open order.

Runs inside Business Central

Mobile Warehouse is a Business Central extension with its own page, the Warehouse App. There is no intermediate database: whatever you save lands on the document.

From storeroom to satellite warehouse

The app works with the locations and bins you already set up in Business Central. Compact storeroom or main warehouse plus satellite site: the workflow stays the same.

Pick, transfer and count on a mobile device

The tasks that usually send your team back to a terminal: fetching stock for orders, flagging what to reorder, moving stock and counting inventory.

Mobile picking for sales and service orders

Open the sales or service order on your device, walk to the shelf, scan each item and confirm the quantity. The app shows location and bin alongside.

Order suggestions from the app

The app suggests what to reorder. Spot another item running low at the shelf? Scan it into the requisition worksheet with location, bin and quantity. Ordering then runs in Business Central as usual.

Transfers between bins and locations

Use the transfer journal for a quick bin change and the transfer order for moves from the main warehouse to a satellite site. Old and new bin both come in by scan.

Physical inventory recording at the bin

Scan items and bins into an empty physical inventory recording, or confirm the quantities in a prepared one. The Quantity Scanned column shows in Business Central what was counted on the device.
